STORAGE KING MONASH AND STORAGE KING DANDENONG SOUTH

The Owners of "Storage King Monash" and "Storage King Dandenong South" are in a unique position to compare the ways their two properties have been developed over the years. Both properties were selected because of their prime locations - On Major Arterial Highways.

The major differences between the properties are as follows:

Monash Storage King was acquired in 2000 as a underdeveloped Self-Storage business with vacant land for further mixed use development.

Monash has been developed to 400 self storage units, serviced offices, a stand alone1000sqm warehouse and further car parking. More recently they completed the addition of another 130 self storage units, 800 square metres of mezzanine and a goods hoist all designed and installed by Regis Consulting Pty Ltd.

Dandenong South Storage King was acquired in 1998 as vacant land which
required a metre of land fill prior to starting any building works.

Managing Director Bob McDowell said "the self-storage business at Monash was much easier to grow than the Dandenong site". "We have always been building at Dandenong South. This building development works has included: Small office/warehouses and within our main building; 1000 pallet storage racks, offices and self storage units including mezzanine floors.

This included a recent additional 1800 square metres of Mezzanine, Goods Hoist and 150 Storage Units all installed and commissioned by Regis Consulting Pty Ltd.

Overview

Bob McDowell added "We have had a number of suppliers building self Storage Cubicles over the years. We even built some of the cubicles ourselves.
However due to our rapid growth within the last three years, we needed a complete service that included: drawings, design advice, town planning and building permits, fire engineering reports, mezzanine floor, stair construction and self storage construction. We chose a local company "Regis Consulting Pty Ltd" to preform all these services. We have found Regis Consulting to be more than competitive on pricing and superior on service.
More importantly the quality of workmanship is outstanding. We have built a strong relationship with Regis Consulting Pty Ltd over the last two years which is a important element in growing our business".
